I'm back from a 3 week get-away. I didn't realize how much I would miss the writing community/fellowship of the writer's world. The break was refreshing and I'm excited
to get back to the computer and write, write, write.

I came back to fantastic news about a good friend who won the first place category for picture books in the Smart Writers competition.

CONGRATULATIONS TO BRENDA REEVES-STURGIS! (my writing buddy and friend) and hope to soon see her 2 manuscripts published, THE FOOTBALL GAME and TEN TURKEYS IN THE ROAD. I have read them both and they are fun, fun, fun.

Also, I have learned that 3 of my manuscripts are in the 58 finals for consideration at Sylvan Dell.
I had the emails waiting for me upon my return and am simply delighted and eagerly await Donna's decision.
