Trivial Tidbits

Trivia about me:

  1. I do everything with my right hand, EXCEPT write. I'm a lefty with the pen.
  2. Have gray genes. Started getting gray at 18.
  3. Remember loving to eat sweet pickles in my high chair.
  4. Prefer adoption to the other option (have done both)
  5. Was run over by a motorcycle at 14 at Lake Santee, Indiana.
  6. Lost my grandmother's pearl ring in same lake. It's still there as far as I know.
  7. Attended k and 1st grade in Yokahama, Japan.
  8. Grew up on a horse (appaloosa) farm. Had a billy goat named, Mr. Woolyboogher.
  9. REALLY STRANGE=My father died on my son's birthday. My father-in-law died on my husband's birthday and my sister died on her birthday. (sigh)
  10. My first crush was when I was 6. I gave him my sister's bike and shell collection. He liked my sister after that, not me.

Hey Carole,

Was just reading your things about you - and see you attended kindergarten and 1st grade in Yokahama, Japan - what a small world - I was born in Yokahama, Japan - but probably long after you attended school there - so does that mean you are of a military family?

My father was stationed there - I was born in 1962- - love the blog - it's so colorful and wild - like you seem to come across on the blue boards - E :)

Thank you, Colorado. I draw for fun and love to take photos, as well.

Hey there, Elysabeth! Nice of you to stop by. I was born in, cough-cough,
53. LOL Yes, it IS a small world and getting smaller all the time. I have wonderful memories of Japan. The world has changed a lot since I lived there, but one memory I have is of the polite, extremely polite culture I experienced. Thank you for visiting and nice to meet you.
