The ups and downs of writing. Acceptances=up Rejection=down. I've been up and down so much lately that I feel like a bouncing ball out of control. Of course, then there's the waiting. Wow, what a life.
And if that's not enough, then I experience it for my writerly friends, too. Their ups and their downs and their endless waiting.
Writers are very caring people. I'm proud to call them "friend". We can cry and rejoice for each other in a way that I've never experienced before in other arenas. Writers are a unique group. Glad to be a part of it.

Sorry to all my friends who, almost made it with Sylvan Dell for Spring '08. Your books are wonderful. Thank you for sharing them with me.
And thank you to Donna German, who in my mind, is a dream editor.
