I hear so many writing buddies talk about writing, put it off,
agonize over every little word, and never get around to
submitting their work. What's up with that? Afraid of rejection?
I don't understand the procrastination. Maybe it's just a personality
issue.
I'm a maniac these days. Submitting and writing and revising and
searching and researching...etc.
I don't enjoy the process in the same way others do. Is that wrong?
When I write, I write. I don't mind revising. Of course, I want to
present great writing, HOWEVER, when does it stop? When can
I say, THIS IS FINISHED. IT'S READY. PUBLISH IT.
Crit groups are interesting. I'm learning you can't please everyone.
Too many opinions can confuse the best attempts. I'm learning
to discriminate between opinion and solid advice. As well, I'm
learning to trust my gut.
