When reading to children in the library, I enjoyed books that engaged my young listeners.
YO! YES? by Chris Raschka was one of my favorites. Of course, drama ruled.
After the first reading, the kids were ready to go with it! We acted it out with each
reading, exaggerating each word to the fullest. I always found kids learn best
when they don't know they are learning. Isn't that the best way?
