Is this the fall of my life?

I just turned fifty-four. Wow!
It has taken that long to know what I want to be when I grow up.
I want to be a big kid writing books for little kids.
I want:
To use the child's voice
To see the world as a child does
To capture the wonder of EVERYTHING
To laugh like a kid
To be spontaneous
To know innocence
To live in wonder
To write magically
